Media attaches to places easily – my question is when media is only attached to a place – how /where can that be used in RM reports. I do not use most RM reports but I am curious. One example I have dozens of photos of trip we did to the Azores about 10 years (3 of wifes grandparents are from there so I attached them to the place). Because were taken long after they died or left the region there would not be a fact to attach them to.
The only place such media can be used in reports is scrapbook reports. But indeed, except for the one head shot that can be attached to an individual’s Person record, scrapbook reports are the only reports that any media attached anywhere in RM can be used in any reports. The limitation is not specific to media attached to places.
The biggest advantage would be if you use RM’s Book feature and if you created chapters in your book that were scrapbook reports.
