How do I mark someone as a step-child so that it is easy to see this relationship?

On the person Edit screen, highlight their parents and in the side panel you can see the Relationship to Father, Relationship to Mother - change it to fit the relationship.,
The correct answer has already been given, but in my opinion marking relationships in this manner doesn’t actually do very much. If I want these kinds of relationships to show up in narrative reports, I add notes to describe the relationships.

on a Similar Note – I found one this week (first that I recall ) that was marked “Guardian” they were the grandparents - I believe I figured out the mother but the father is unknown and I never found either of the children with the mother (Cir `1900). In this case I added the (unconfirmed) bio mother and then the (confirmed) Guardians aka Grandparents – some of this is tracker by Census info but additional would help clarify those things
