Would it be possible for the programmer to change the Birth Fact listing when the + fact sign is clicked by the mouse? I would suggest changing “Alt. Birth” to “Birth, Alt.” Perhaps this would omit another mouse click.
Why? Alt. Birth is not a Rootsmagic standard fact. It was added by you, on purpose, or through import from somewhere else. Therefore the programmers can’t do anything about it.
An option is to use a “Birth2” fact type for alternative birth/location data and a sentence structure that includes the words “conflicting evidence” in the Birth2 fact type.
Not sure how it happened; however, I was able to modify/edit the alt. birth to birth, alt. and it did the trick.
