I suspect this is a really simple thing but I’d like to print a list ordered by RIN rather than surname. Is there a simple way to do this please?
It’s a list of everyone on the database - 400 plus - as i keep it to just direct ancestors.
Many thanks
Stephen
It’s simple but perhaps not so easy. Namely, make a Custom Report with two columns. One columns is the record number. The other column is the person’s name. Custom Reports can be sorted by any column or columns, so sort this Custom Report by the record number.
The reason I say it’s simple but not so easy is that there are a good many steps involved in setting up and running a Custom Report. It’s not rocket science, but it’s not necessarily so easy to set up the columns and select the people. I don’t have time right now to walk you through the steps, but that’s what you need to do.
There may be an easier way, but if so then I can’t think of it right this second.

Many thanks - I juggled around as you suggest and then downloaded it to an Excel spreadsheet which worked. I normal avoid spreadsheets like the plague - too many at my former place of work.
