In RM 7, I could click on Internet - Generate files for a website and create a file to upload to my personal website. I cannot find this option in RM 8. Does it still exist? If so, where is it located? THANKS!
The “Generate files for a website” feature no longer exists. The only option in RM8 is myrootsmagic.com.
The only practical alternative is to export whatever data you wish to post on the Web to GEDCOM and use that GEDCOM to generate a site using a tool other than RM8. As a simple example, you could use RM7 for this purpose. Import the RM8 GEDCOM to RM7 and create your Web site that way. But there are many other alternatives as well.
