The alternative is a gedcom export from FTM 2019 and import as gedcom to RM8. See which mangles your data the least. RM7 apparently does not work for mac os after mojave per tech support (no new wrappers). What made you decide to switch? Also there was a free FTM update yesterday.
Yes, it does work. I have previously explained to you how it works. What support told you is for the official wrappered version, which you do not need if you have one of the emulators. You should know this can be done since you are a self professed Mac expertâŚand the FTM update isnât worth the bandwidth to download it.
I saw the ftm update but have never been too impressed with some features and wanted to evaluate RM8 free version
After working with free version of RM8 overnight and watching several of the tutorial videos, I am VERY impressed with everything I see and will be moving ahead with purchasing. I had one question and I chatted with RM tech support this morning and it was quickly answered. I believe you have a great product. I have been using FTM for years and itâs great to see a product with new technology and features and real support!
