I have parents in a family misidentified in their roles as father and mother. How may I swap them?
Highlight one of the spouses in a view, then hit the edit (pencil icon). The option to Swap (rearrange) spouses is there.

Swap parents - sounds like something I wanted to do in my teenage years!

Swap father and mother (from that menu) sounds like it may be what the poster is seeking

In Edit Person, select the Spouse.
On the right, click the label to change it:
Or maybe you have to change the “Sex” for each parent, depending on what you mean by swap.

When looking at the pedigree the parents can show in “swapped” position, where the mother sits traditionally where you would expect to see the father and vice versa. The Swap (rearrange) function puts them back in to the expected view.

@mapleleaf That would just change the labels and not really swap them over, other screens such as the couple view would still show them incorrectly. From the people workplace, choose the pencil icon and choose Swap father and mother.

Thanks for confirming my guess. I had chosen the more obvious recommendation as you have given without dallying with the labels option.
