How to format page range for multiple pages

What is the correct format for selecting a page range when printing multiple page reports - the last section here Report Settings - RootsMagic Wiki

I tired nnn-nnn but that is not working.

The format you’re using works for me

Under Pages to Print, select Page Range.

For me, on MacOS RM 8.2.5.0 crashes just trying to enter the range.
