How do you remove a duplicate spouse?

The person list only shows the wife once, but the husband person record listed her twice.
Not sure how I made that happen, but how do I remove one of the references?

I could wind up a long-winded answer, but I’ll try not to.

  1. Run the Database Tools - all of them - because sometimes that will clean up something in the database
  2. In your example, select the husband, then go to Descendant View - Are there children? Any differences between the children list for the two “couples”? - There should be no differences, so spotting a difference may give you a clue to resolution

Tried all the tools to no avail. Had to delete the wife and re-add to resolve.

Thanks for the Tools suggestion, as that fixed up a number of other things J
