RM 10 hourglass chart looks good with 3 descendant generations but when I set descendant generations to 4 the fourth generation is way off to the right.
Unfortunately as a new user I can only post one image, so here is the result of setting descendant generations to 4:
I’ve tried numerous changes to various settings and the distinction seems to be the fourth descendant generation.
This appears to me to be a bug.
It usually happens when there are multiple spouses for a person in the line. Confirming it has been reported to development.
Thanks! There are in fact multiple marriages in both lines leading to the fourth descendant generation.
This symptom also manifests in Descendant charts:

Deleting Denise WifeTwo Doe from the program fixes the Descendant Chart problem. So the problem is caused by second marriages in previous generations.
