Hello, when I check hints in Rootsmagic 11, if I reject a hint, the hint does not disappear from my hint notifications. This issue has been present since at least RM8. What am I, doing wrong? Thanks.

Me too. Pretty much stopped using it as it mainly offers hints already accepted in Ancestry and in RM via TreeShare.
It may be an advantage that the same hints may appear later. Often the hints turn out to be incorrect so it is good if they show up a second or third time. I usually do not click to say the possible hint matches my person. The opposite sometimes occurs. I have chosen not to reply to accept or not acceppt, and the same hint does not show up again.
When I reject an Ancestry WebHint it shows properly under the Rejected column. The webhint bulb will change from yellow to blue. Looks like its working fine to me.
