Group of Broken Trees/individuals

Not sure if anyone described how to do this with RM 10
If you want to find a all people that would be listed in “Count Trees” meaning they have no relation or known connection to the person where relationships are are set to (or a person of your choosing)

you basically need 2 rules:

1. Include everyone with Rec Number > 0
2. exclude everyone in tree of (person - usually would be same as one you set relationships to) –

then you can reveiew that list of people (or if/when you decide to – you delete them all from the database) – make sure you make back up for anything like that

[EDIT] this will include anyone with associations and DNA matches without relationship link to “root” person. If you want to exclude them – see my reply below

#1 I would use select “All - select or clear everyone in file”.

• So also you want to exclude any DNA results – you may have people in RM database where the relationship path has not been established or confirmed (most often for living people)
• Also Associations

it might look something like – in my case – I do “tree” from grandson POV so that is step #2.
