If I accidentally click the same edit command twice then I get this error message: ‘a component named AddNewEvent already exists’. This forces RM10 to freeze and the only way out is to force quit and then reopen the programme. I’m using a MacBook Pro and the OS plus all software is up to date. Any help would be much appreciated.
I think that’s a reasonable error if you are clicking on adding or editing something twice. It should have in blue what has already been selected to update on a fact. Something else must be going on though because I can select to add the same fact multiple times without it freezing.
I agree the error message itself is reasonable - it’s the freezing that bothers me and the need to force quit. The error, though, is very easy to commit but your suggestion would help.
Other than being careful to not select the same thing twice, that would leave the only option to force quit if it freezes.
