Since moving from FTM over to RootsMagic I’ve been very happy with the software.
After using RootsMagic for a bit now, one thing, in my opinion, that would make it even better, would the addition of a link to Places from the person edit fact screen.
i.e. The side links after the details :-
That also show on the RHS window of the Edit Person screen :-
I personally like to see on maps where the place was, surely I can’t be the only one lol
Would save having to close edit and go to separate Places section, then onto the place etc
Would this be something that is possible for the future ?

It may not be exactly what you are looking for, but the Edit Person screen in RM10 is not a modal screen. By that, I mean that when the Edit Person screen is open, it does not block access to other RM screens such as the Places screen. Would this take care of your need?

Den1968 - I agree, that would be a useful addition to the Edit Person screen.
Only way from the Edit Person screen is highlight any fact then click into any Place field of right pane. Two icons appear at far right of that field. The globe icon goes to Places (but only for selection as you’ve noticed). The other opens Gazetteer (if installed) and typing a placename to search results allows highlighting and then clicking View online button for Bing Maps. In addition to choosing Places on the Main Screen left sidebar, one can also choose the Command Palette upper right on the Main Screen (palette icon next to Find everywhere) which has selections for both Mapping and the aforementioned Places.
