Under File>Tools is the Backup Option … but it’s not in the Tools>Database Tools.
If it was added there you could actually run each of the Tools and then Backup the database instead of having to switch to File>Backup

Good Suggestion – I typically backup after I run tools – it would save a couple clicks
I typically back up before I run tools in case there is some type of malfunction and my database becomes corrupted. I then backup again after I rebuild indexes or compact the database.
The backup option is on the Tools page which you can use before/after running the database tools.
