Fan Chart: Surname problem

Has anyone else noticed that on the Fan Chart, some surnames are missing. When I check the person record the surname is recorded but it is suppressed in the Fan Chart.

I like to use the Fan Chart to check data and reveal opportunities for more research. I am wasting time checking data that is complete.

I’ve seen this, especially in the 9th generation and beyond.

I believe this is a known issue and due to limitation of characters and font pixels etc. So it might be fair to say that Fan Charts beyond about 9 gens are nearly useless in producing results
