On my pedigree chart my grandfather and great-grandfather keep repeating themselves, going on forever. Any idea how this happened and how to fix it?

its not a fault of chart – you have a relationship set wrong
@tmduffy52 is this a Pedigree chart or is it the Pedigree VIEW-looks like the pedigree view-- each individual seem to have the same number, so you can’t merge them —don’t know how it happened BUT you need to unlink Thomas and Martin from each other
I duplicated your problem so how you fix this is
UNLINK Martin from his parents–when the unlink screen comes up it will have highlighted all the times Martin is linked to the family— in my example below of Mel–he is listed twice and it will remove BOTH version at once..
Then you will have to go find Thomas-- he should still be listed as a child under Martin and wife-- UNLINK parents again and it will unlink all versions-- once done , you will have to go back and added Martin as a child of Thomas and his wife
BEFORE you start MAKE SURE TO BACK UP YOUR DATABASE–

thanks for some reason my Bluetooth adapter failed and I could not type from my Bluetooth keyboard. I have actually accidentally done the same thing. (There is more than one way for this to occur and/or fix) – the bottom line you at least you need to unlink and then relink if needed.
