I’ve just started working in RootsMagic and when I sync from local to Ancestry the media or documents don’t go and then I try to do it again and it ends up that multiple duplicate media files and such end up in Ancestry.
Are you using a Mac, there have been reported issues with TreeShare & Macs.
Yes, I am. It’s so frustrating. Do we know if RootsMagic is going to correct it at all?
All I know is what they have told us. They have made improvements with each update.

You should open a support ticket too.
That shouldn’t be an issue with 11.5.0. Open a support ticket and share the file and tree with an agent.
