Are there any plans to bring back the chrono timeline as was in Roots Magic 7? It was such a handy visual tool, and I really miss it!
If this is the chrono timeline you are talking about in RM7, it’s still there in RM8/9/10.
You just need to turn it on in RM8/9/10. The feature may be found in RM8/9/10 within the Edit Person Screen. Turning it on in RM8/9/10 is a two step process. First of all, you need to enable the Show Relative Events option, which is a checkbox in the Edit Person screen.
Then you you need to tell RM8/9/10 which Relative Events you wish to see. You start by clicking the 3 Dots icon.
Then, click on Options and set the options for Relative events the way you want them.

HI, thanks for responding. This is the timeline I am referring to. It is found in RootsMagic 7 menu, *reports, *charts, *timeline.
It was extremely helpful, and at times I reload my database back into RM7 just to get the visual timeline.

This would be great to have in RM. I basically created the same view in Excel but it involves querying the RM database to get the info. Fine as a hacky solution, but it would be much more useful in RM.
