Can HTML be used in Sentence templates?
For example, is this sentence template okay?

New Fact Type, Name: Find-A-Grave Memorial ID

Then for the sentence template:

Since you have already created the template, test it on a person. Look at both the preview in the Edit person screen and in the various outputs you want it to appear in: i.e., reports, website, Ancestry Tree…

That said, I think there is something wrong with using a variable named [Find-A-Grave Memorial]. You cannot define a variable. The only ones available are defined in the Sentence Template Language (see Help). If you are entering the FAG ID in the Description field of the fact, then your variable is [Desc], iirc.

The HTML code will appear as entered and not create a hyperlink. You would be better off just adding the straight URL instead of HTML code. Then enable the description field and add <[Desc]> at the end of the sentence template so the URL is complete. When I want to add a link to Find A Grave I add a person WebTag, and also add that WebTag to the citation.

can you add a webtag to sentence?

Facts don’t have WebTags if that is what you mean. It’s either a person or a source/citation.

Okay that is what I thought wanted to make sure I was not missing something.
