To include a web link to a Find-A-Grave memorial, I have been using Edit Person, Fact, WebTags, Name: Find-A-Grave Memorial, URL
But wonder if there is a better way for creating web tags for Find-A-Grave URLs?

I have a custom fact for Find-a-grave. I also have a Custom Find-a-grave Source/Citation that I use that meets EE standard. I then link the webtags to the citation link for the fact. I also use a seperate Burial fact. Some of the info overlaps between two.
If you weren’t already aware, you can use just the Find a Grave memorial ID in the URL, i.e., without the person’s name. E.g.:
https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/149162738/
https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/149162738/thomas-marshall-gilkison
… both lead to the same individual.
If you’ve stored the memorial ID in its own field (e.g., “[MemorialID]”) you could include
https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/[MemorialID]
in a sentence template.
Dear Kevin & Brian,
Thank you for your ideas and suggestions. I like them both and will try them out, but wonder if either/ both get published in any or all outputs from RM?
I can’t speak to Kevin’s template, but I’ve been using the EE-FindAGrave template from the User Source Templates page, with a few tweaks (I also record the FindAGrave creator’s ID # in the citation)
Thank you Brian for that link!
