When I choose the “Box Chart” on the Publish tab, this is what I get.

Under the “Appearance” selection select “Box Border” and make sure you have a border type selected. The first option is “None”.
you may want to also turn off color coding. Sometimes resetting the adjusting is easier – for some charts this does not working always as expected

Color coding (especially or some coloring/colors) is not always desirable. (even on screen)
