Ancestry Update Weirdness

In the last couple weeks, I’ve noticed that tree updates aren’t working correctly. When I update everything looks good from RootsMagic but the person’s facts are not updated. When I reopen tree share the person is not listed as needing to be updated but I look up the person, it shows RootsMagic and Ancestry are different.

I did notice in once instance that the persons profile had been updated some time after the fact. Unfortunately, I don’t remember exactly when I updated that person. Adding new people and deleting a fact from Ancestry fact via Tree Share seem to work without issue.

Anyone else seen this issue?

Is Treeshare broken?

I have been unable to do any work on my database for the past 18 months and recently returned to the sofrtware. The first thing I had to do was upgrade to the latest version 11.13.0 which involved upgrading the ancestry api which took some considerable time. I have recently updated some records and using treeshare gone through the normal practice of uploading changes to ancestry.co.uk, however when I check on ancestry.co.uk those changes have not appeared. I’m glad someone else is having issues with tree share not working correctly, I have a previous post about it, I noticed that if my entry had an image then treeshare failed, remove the image and most of the time treeshare would work. I reported it to RootsMgic but heard nothing more

Yes, I am seeing the same Issues with Treesync. I have been updating burial details and sources and these details are not being copied to Ancestry. When I reopen tree share the person is not listed as needing to be updated but I look up the person, it shows RootsMagic and Ancestry are different.

I have been thinking this morning that I might as well just copy new trees from Ancestry every time I have made a few changes. At the moment I haven’t found tree sharing

Usually a great idea to upload BUT you MIGHT want to wait on that for now

Treeshare - Unable to upload New RM Tree to Ancestry

I just noticed I didn’t put my note on this one. Development is aware of the issue with media and is working on it. There are a few other issues we are working with Ancestry on for resolution.
