When I create an ancestor chart in RM v 11.2.0.0 on a Mac, there are strange bars appearing and the details for individuals events are not complete
Sometimes restarting the computer and RM will straighten it out.
I found the problem in default boxes, the border colour needed setting to white after which the banding was eliminated. Thanks

I have seem that issue before – sometimes it difficult to get them to clear – its seems to be something specific to the computer and not the database itself when I tried to replicate or resolve
Good catch. I see the same problem on mac and the setting is kind of buried. Good for you for finding it. I had to set 2 fields…Colors, Default Boxes (under the Chart Boxes section of the panel), Border = No color or white, and Fill = white. (Selecting Fill=“no color” did not work for me. It left a solid colored bar the next time the report was run.)

I have the same problem here, Mac user, too, RM 11, macOS Lake Tahoe, everything updated. Ancestor Chart and Descendant Chart are affected, box chart for ancestors is not. But the latter does not allow different fill colors for genders, for example. I find this very annoying. Creating ancestor charts to me is THE purpose of genealogy.
