Alternate Name Fact Type and the Customise Add Person Form

I’m just wondering if there might be a “technical” reason why the alternate name fact is not available to add to the “customise add person form” (see screen shot below).

If it’s simply a case that the fact has been overlooked, I will ask if the developers can add this fact to the list that is available for selection.

But I suspect there is a very good reason why it’s not available!

Here’s one of many examples in my database where NONE of the Alternate Name entries matches what I prefer as the Display Name. I’m still in RM7, as many of you will recognize by the UI graphics.

I want all of the name variations found to be shown, and I use the Sort Date to present them in an order that makes sense to me.
