So you downloaded from Ancestry on the first computer, transferred the data to a USB drive on the first computer, and used the USB drive to transfer the data onto the second computer? I’m still trying to understand where in the process it was that your media files didn’t make it to the second computer.
Downloading your data from Ancestry on the first computer will place all your media files in a subfolder of the same folder that contains your *.rmtree file. Then the media subfolder and also the *.rmtree file need to be copied from the first computer to your USB drive. Then the media subfolder and also the *.rmtree file need to be copied from the USB drive to the second computer. Did all those steps take place successfully?
close thread from now on ,I will live with it on two seperate computers .
