@ngwehner Exactly what are you trying to copy and how are you copying and pasting it-- right click or control +c and control+ v, or using paste under the 3 dots?
I don’t get that message and had no problems if I copy the whole memorial or the body of the memorial such as this:

Death 14 Jan 1842
Sainte Genevieve, Ste. Genevieve County, Missouri, USA
Burial Memorial Cemetery Sainte Genevieve, Ste. Genevieve County, Missouri, USA

If I try to copy the info right above the source citation such as this
- Created by: Margie Buchheit Hartle
- Added: Dec 22, 2010
- Find a Grave Memorial ID: 63240285
- and use Control + c and Control + V, I sometimes get this message

When RM8 first came out, we were told the only way you add a note was to use PASTE AS TEXT only under the 3 dots but know there has been some improvement..
Keith made this suggestion in Dec 2025 and maybe it will help you
