I’m generating an Individual Summary report for some testing, and cannot for the life of me figure out how to prevent page breaks between the main report and end notes. I’d like to have the entire report flow without page breaks between sections, rolling to a new page only when the actual content reaches the margins.
The most likely place would seem to be the Page Layout area for the report …
Yes, I would say you are. The fact that end notes are supposed to begin on a new page. At least from an MLA standpoint as I recall. I would say that RM is simply following the standard rules and not giving you an option to change them.
I’ve tried opening a docx in LibreOffice, which I use instead of Word, but the table formatting isn’t imported attractively.
For context … the reason I would like the “no page break” option is so I can side-step editing and save as PDF. This is part of my on-going laser engraving testing. I have other tools that can convert PDF into an SVG, which the engraving software uses.
Editing in Word (or LibreOffice), then saving to PDF, would add steps to the workflow that I’d rather skip. Having the no-page-break option and saving to PDF within RM would retain the nice formatting and streamline the flow a little.
