Can I copy/paste the files installed into my program files in my laptop into the USB? And, use that to store my data?
I have multiple computers that I have access to work on rootsmagic.

You can install the program on a removable drive and you can store the data and media on it. In the RM8 Help Wiki, look up RootsMagic To Go for instructions.
