I’ve read here that there is a downloadable Help file for Windows users of RM11. Is there a similar, DOWNLOADABLE file for Mac users?

This is just the help file available from the RM home tab.
The file available from the Home tab is online. A few versions back someone wanted a help file that didn’t rely on being online, so RM made it happen. Of course they did explain how the local copy would not reflect any edits made and a new copy would need to be download to get the latest changes.
Best to just use the online help file which reflects any changes rather than an outdated static version.
You apparently missed the part about people wanting an offline version. Your point isn’t really relevant. You may constantly have internet access, but some of us go places where we don’t and as such a local copy is necessary. I can think of at least two other genealogy software packages that also provide offline help so apparently this need is greater than you think. Of course, one of those packages is smart enough to not produce a Mac version at the expense of their Windows customers.
