Question community

Good morning everyone, I have a question : why community Roost Magic is only in English ?

My guess is that it is due to being an American company with staff and a user base that predominately speaks English. I am sure that you can post in whatever language you speak if you wish. Given the prevalence of online interpreters, someone will probably use one to translate to English and they will post a response, which you can feed into an interpreter to get back to your original language.

There may be some people in the forums that do speak your native language and may reply accordingly.

@benoitmuimbi – there is one man who posts all of his messages in his native language and as kfunk says, other people on here will translate his message and post a reply in English–which he then translate to his native language ( German I believe)
An Example

Only problem with that is you sometimes limit the amount of people who respond BUT the ones who generally respond are some of the best/ most informed people in this community.

There was also one man from another country who said in one of his post that he headed up a RootMagic (RM) user group-- don’t know what country he was from-- this is NOT a RM sanctioned group but rather a group of RM users from one country who have banded together-- believe this person is pretty knowledgeable abt RM and helps others with the basics / getting started and then post on here is he doesn’t know the answer…

If you haven’t yet, I suggest you read the Community guidelines
https://community.rootsmagic.com/guidelines

So what is your native country?

ist es nicht so, das Google Chrome automatisch deutsch in english ĂĽbersetzt ??

Not sure about Google chrome automatically translating messages like this… You can set up Google chrome so that you can read a web page that is in a different language so you can read it in any of 100 different languages..

As for reading messages on here such as those you post in German, someone on the forum said we could copy the message and post it into whatever form of A I that we use and it would translate it-- As I was copying you message, I noticed the ASK A I ( last one on right) and asked it to translate it-- it worked great…

ich denke, die KI ist in Google Chrome wohl eingebaut; Rechts-Click ĂĽbersetz die ganze Seite in die jeweils eingestellte Frage

Sadly, it does not, but it’s only a couple of clicks to get it to do so.

I thought about trying to reply in German but didn’t want to insult you with my terrible German from junior high school (grade 7).

meine Noten in english waren immer schlecht
