What does this mean? In particular, what does it mean to “merge names” or to “merge events”? I’m not aware of any capability in RM to merge names or to merge events. Are the merges that have been fixed something that’s happening totally within Tasks?

Merging as in merging people. In certain situations the merged person’s sources, media and tasks were lost.
