Good Evening
I have a ques of what happens if/when you use web tags on a place. Mostly on reporting but also for GEDCOM etc
example I give a location 3 web tags (note previously I have added this info to the note on the place.
3 web tags might look like this
What is the advantage of using a webtag on place vs embedding details in note
I have about 4000 cemeteries so trying to figure out best method (for me)
when I do in note it would look like this (reminder this is for place)

I would first, always put the info in the notes (without the url’s). I also add webtags religiously, but only for the purpose of being able to quickly find that info again for my own use.

I have done this is past without issues and the info ports over to my (offline currently) website quite nicely

-To be ahead of the game when the program suddenly receives more webtags-related features or functionality
-To have a collective historical accounting of pertinent links to check on some kind of regular basis to ensure the continued existence of those as datapoints
well my objective is I need URL in at least one of of those places.
It seems better to have in webtags for the longer term but only if it export in GEDCOM .
Also I thought I saw someone explain not long ago how webtags can show up in narrative or other reports. I already use webtags for MOST citations.
My understanding is that export and import of gedcom by RM will preserve just about everything.
But many data are in special gedcom extension tags that non RM apps probably won’t read.
