In RM7 I used to regularly run through the database utilities to compact and clean-up the file. Is that still available? If not, how do I get rid of odd records that are “Unknown, Unknown” that I am unable to select or edit? In this instance I have a person with a spouse. He also has an Unknown spouse that does not appear when I look at his record, or when I look at my synced ancestry file, but appears in the descendant view.
The feature is still there under the File tab, then click Tools.

Database tools is also in the Command Palette. General tip: if you can’t find something check in the Palette - lots of things are there even if they are available elsewhere

I had found that I had a few of these when I had people on my Ancestry tree that had a marriage fact without a spouse connected to that fact. Matching that marriage fact to a spouse reduced the number of these issues that I had. I would investigate that also if the tools don’t fix the problem. Sorry, I like to solve the problem and not continually have to fix the result.
