Narrative Report shows wrong parent

I have the latest RM update. My file is quite large with over 17,000 individuals.
I have some ancestors with multiple marriages. When I export/print the narrative report to Word, the children are listed under the first spouse, not the 2nd one. For example: Benjamin was married twice, first to Sarah then to Grace. He had 9 children with Sarah and 2 with Grace.
All of the children, in the narrative report, list the parents as Benjamin & Sarah; including Grace’s 2 children.
The children are listed correctly in RM under each mother separately, and are not duplicated.
Thoughts? Thank you

Backup your database.

I would try unlinking the children of Benjamin and Grace completely from the rest of the family after first making a list of their id numbers. Then I would reindex the database (found under tools). After the reindexing is complete I would close and reopen the database. Only then would I relink to appropriate children to Benjamin and Grace.

Is it only when exported to Word that you see the wrong parents? Is this an Ancestor narrative with children or a descendant narrative?

I have not tried any other format. This is a descendant narrative report.
I am finding a lot of weird things within the narrative report that are random, and occur infrequently:
notes assigned to the husband, appear under the wife also - but only partially and not all the time
random project sentence structure templates with some people (the fact does not appear under the person, but the RM sentence template appears in parenthesis

The narrative report is over 3,000 pages without an index

I did that, and have done that with a few other parent issues
The reindex did work with most problems, but not these two children. I did each reindex separately for each problem, not all at once.

If you could get a small sample file that shows the issue with the children open a support ticket and send it to us.
