I have two RM databases, one I compiled some years ago containing all I could find with a single surname, and the second is my own history file. The latter contains a number of people(appx 200) that I know are in the first database. I can use the “Compare files” tool to see the common people, but I’m wanting to simply mark the people who are in both databases with a colour code in the former database so I can easily see who exists in both databases. Is there an easy way to do this?
It would have to be done manually. Compare files lets you only open the Edit Person screen on the primary person. You could add them to a group from there. Then match them in the second database afterwards.
Thanks for the reply…I was expecting the response but wanted to make sure I hadn’t missed anything.
