This Life sketch was moved from FamilySearch to my RM 11. Can not find any way to go into the text to edit.
Did you click on the “customize” button in the upper right of the Sentence box? I’ve never transferred a Life Story from FamilySearch but this is where sentences from other facts can be edited on an individual basis.
you might need to edit the fact so it is not using sentences not sure
Don’t think you can edit it.
Go to her info on FS, look at the Life Sketch, copy all the text and paste it into the Note section in RM.
You can then delete the fact from RM.

To me it looks like FS have just started to use the fact Life sketch at the FamilySearch Person Tools.

When the Life Sketch is added to RM from FamilySearch all the text is in the Description field. Use Alt+A, Alt+C to copy the text and paste it into your notes. You can delete it out of the description field if you want. Just keep in mind it might not appear as an exact match when viewing in the FamilySearch Person Tools.

Look at my screen dump. The only text in the Description field is (From Daniel Funeral Home). When I use Alt+A it takes me to the Fact Type List.

Sorry, it’s Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C. The Life Sketch probably has carriage returns leaving big spaces on what you can see in the description field preview.
I’m sorry to tell you that Ctrl+A didn’t work. Nothing happens. Also
tried with the End key in the description field, negative.
What is the FamilySearch ID for the person?

I was able to copy that Life Sketch using Ctrl+A and Ctrl+C in the description field. However, it is only giving me the first paragraph. You will notice that I made some edits on that profile on FamilySearch to check what was happening. I reported the change though its not a RM11 specific issue. The same cut-off happens in RM10. It used to give us everything previously. At this time its best to copy and paste directly from the website into the notes to capture everything.

You did it better than me at the description field. I got nothing.
In this thread I wrote 22.9. “I found it at FS, found not any Life sketch, but under Brief Life History.” I managed to copy the whole text, changed some of it and it’s now in a Note at the person in RM.
