Please include Citation Names in Find Everywhere.
Find Everywhere does not currently search everywhere, because Citation Names do not show up in the search results.
I need to edit all the Citation Names that RM8 creates upon importing an RM7 file. These citation names include extraneous punctuation, like semicolons, and excessive numbers of unnecessary details.
One example:
Year: 1930; Census Place: Baltimore, Maryland; Page: 3A; Enumeration District: 0468; FHL microfilm: 2340594
I’d like to be able to change that Citation Name to something briefer and more relevant to my way of naming Sources:
[Name] & Family 1930 Baltimore
For my purposes the ED, page and microfilm number are useless details in a citation name.
Of course, even if this feature existed, without also being able to Search and Replace citation names I would still have to manually change each one.
