I am interested in importing stories from a spreadsheet. I can export it as a CSV. The spreadsheet has data that I would like to fill the TITLE, DATE, LOCATION, and COMPOSER fields. I can get all the fields to populate except for the composer field.
Does anyone know if this is achievable or what I might be doing wrong?
Importing to note fields ? Not really through RootMagic UI if I understand correctly.
I suppose it somewhat possible via a drag-n-drop.
Also maybe possible via SQL – but there really is too little info to give much direction without out more info.
If you CSV has primary keys that could be matched to RM Tables – then yes is might be possible. (such as PID, (and fact type – such as Census, Birth and so on )
This is for PH3.
If I move the header COMPOSE to the COMPOSER TEXT section nothing imports even though there is data in my dataset.
ah sorry – I thought this was RootsMagic question – I have not used Historian.

Confirming issue has been reported to development.
To be noted, the field for ORGANIZER TEXT also does not import any data.
