How to get RM to point to a different folder

hello all

this is my first post here, hopefully I’m doing it right, lol.

I recently upgraded to RM11, from RM10. I have always let my laptop to choose which folder/s to use and haven’t had any problems that I know of. A folder was created on OneDrive.

Since installing RM11 I have gotten an ‘Out of memory’ error every few hours.

I asked on the Facebook group and it was suggested it was because of OneDrive, I’m very thankful for all the help and advice I received there, but i still have one more question.

How do i get RM to point to the new folder location? The new location is the path listed in the Data Folder below , but it is still pointing to the OneDrive location.

All I can think of is that you’ve got the ‘open last database when starting RootsMagic’ box ticked under settings:-

If so it will open the OneDrive version if that’s the last one opened. Just untick it (if that’s a word!) and give it a go.

thank you so very much, you are correct and now i have unchecked the box and am pointing to the correct file.
