I try to keep my places “Time Correct”. “England” before 1801 and “England, United Kingdom” after 1801. “British Colonial America” before 1776 and “United States” after 1776. The Place Cleaner causes me to unselect (one at a time) all “British Colonial America”. I also use Place for DNA Chromosome Mapping. It would be nice to tell the Place Cleaner, Leave this Place alone!

If you are using County Check the standard is “British America”.
Will the “Place Cleaner” leave it alone when I ask it to “add this country to places”
PlaceClean should work with it. At least it won’t suggest cleaning it.
That looks like you used United States for the “Add this country to places”.
Yes, I did, I want to add “United States” to places that needed it but leave “British America” alone.
That is why I am asking for a flag to “Do Not Clean this Place”
That won’t be skipped when you are telling it to use United States. It’s exactly what it thinks you need to do. It’s not looking at the time frame for events.
