I am getting a new laptop. I currently use both RM7 and RM9. I have my keys for both and I also have saved off the install downloads when I did the initial installation of each. When it was time for an update I let RM handle it.
My question is when I install each RM on the new laptop, will each do the appropriate updates to get to the most current versions?
Yes, I know that RM7 is no longer being updated. But I do want the most current version on my new laptop.

I would download v7 from the RM website, that’s gonna be the last one they did.
So that is not just an update?
The last updates to RM7 and RM9 will be the ones that you find to download. Older versions are not updated once new versions are released. It is RM10 that will be getting new updates. RM7 still works really well. I use it several hours per day and rarely get an error message. If you want the combination of older RM7 and the latest revisions, I recommend you purchase RM10.
Thank you. I too find RM 7 works really well. I have only converted one of my databases (a small one) to RM9 to learn how to work with it - and still find it too cumbersome to completely change over as yet.
