Rearranging source citations?

After creating multiple source citations for an individual in my tree, is there a way to rearrange the citations?

For example, maybe the first source citation is an obituary followed by census record citations. Is there a way to rearrange the list so the census citations are on top and put the obituary citation at the end of the list?

Thank you.

With this posting, there are a number of previous posts. I submitted a feature request to be able to sort in alphabetical order, this would help. The abilty to allow you to drag and drop in an order, is a lot of programming. This possible feature needs to really be voted on by the membership here in the group.

As of now, the order is done by order of entry. so the only way to get an order like you want to have would require the deleting and readding in the order you want. That will be a lot of work on your side. If the order was sorted in an alphabetic order, then you could put a number or letter with a dash. Example would be all births would be 1 or b, deaths would be D or 2, etc. Then if you want to take it further, you want to do a B1 or 1-01, B2 or 1-02, etc. You would have to consider if the time to create this organization schema is worth the time on the current citations as well as the future citations

So, the only option at this release (RM 10.0.5.0) is to delete the citations and re-enter in the order you want them to be listed. Also, you have to remember that if you export or do a drag and drop to a new database, then the entry order would be as it is imported.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for your help! I had a feeling this was the case, but you never know. Not sure I want to create numbered entries.
