Hi, under publisher/creating a new book are the following instructions:
“To create a book, select “New Book” from the Publish page. RootsMagic will ask for some basic information for your book (title, author, and publisher), and will let you select any special chapters you will want to include (like title page, table of contents, etc.). Don’t worry if you can’t decide; you can always add or remove any chapter later.”
There is no “New Book” in the publishing page.
Is this feature no longer available?
Is the Books section perhaps not being shown onscreen?

just to confirm the copy of RM you have is active and not the free version?

Thanks for your response. I got the free version first to look around. So the new books is not available in the free version? It does not even gray it out?
I was trying to find something to print info for a present. The family group sheet, or Individual summary does not have adequate formatting to put in a book.
Is there any print format that does have good formatting?
