Once again when matching with family search, I get fs is already matched to my person, but my databe base does not agree with what I’m seeing. This has always been perplexing to me. Sometimes I can merge duplicates and get it to correct, but when my person is the only one listed and parents and some children are already matched some where else?
You matched this person at some previous occasion. The My FamilySearch Person in the right-hand pane has information attached that has constantly been changing every day/week/month since right up to what is presently shown. Users of that site have been adding/merging/revising data and sources onto the person. You’re still matched and can choose to adopt the “changed” data of the most recent info from the FamilyTree. Or do nothing and the changes to the right pane evolve as FamilySearch users keep making changes.
Looks like a lot of my people in the 1600’s. The RM children may need their FSIDs updated. Open them in the FamilySearch Person Tools to update their FSID and see if that changes the icon color.
People are often correcting and updating info. This may include merging, fixing relationships and sometimes deleting FSIDs. (like Renee described briefly)
this info is hard to keep up with sometimes. Resetting TreeShare sometimes helps – and reviewing whats new. I do not find Whats News works perfectly – but can help narrow focus.
Event with a smaller db of <2000 people it might be Challengingly The bottom line is if your RM person facts info looks to your satisfcation. You can also right click and “Show on FS” which can be quite helpful at times vs the grid screen.
