CountyCheck Suggestion - Why does it keep omitting Hancock County?

I really appreciate this county check feature, but I am wondering why does it result in omitting Hancock County if/ when the date is prior is prior to Maine’s creation? It technically ought to get corrected as Castine, Hancock, Massachusetts, United States, but instead, the county gets dropped altogether.

Its whole purpose is to check/verify the existence of a locale named Hancock County within the state of Maine on 5 Aug 1810. No state named Maine… there can be no county in Maine (thus Massachusetts is suggested). Castine, Hancock, Massachusetts passes CountyCheck. What do you feel should be in this suggestion infobox? Not sure what result you’re after (from CountyCheck)? Different wording?

It clearly states “The existence and location of the city is not verified.” Imagine if the city was named Franklin or Washington or Jefferson.
