Ancestry Media associated with fact no longer downloading

Hi,

Since the latest update, treeshare is finding new facts / citations on Ancestry ok, but is no longer downloading the media associated with Fact/citation when the new fact is selected and Accepting Changes. Is this Ancestry or RM update issue ? Could this be looked at please ?

Confirming the issue has been reported to development.

I had the same issue - it is the same issue relating to the 11.1.1 update. I ‘fixed’ it by following RM advice and downloading my whole tree from Ancestry to a new RM file. However I have now lost 100+ DNA matches. @rzamor1 is there any way I can copy the DNA matches on the same individual from one RM file to another. Just can’t face manually entering 100+ entries in the DNA field. The DNA information does not transfer from one database to the other by drag and drop.

PS I believe the citations issue (pink icons) just related to Ancestry media. The sources and citations moved across from Ancestry to RM but any Ancestry specific media (census page images, wedding registers, etc) did not come across, whereas any media inserted into Ancestry by myself or other members did come across.

Sadly, there isn’t a way to copy over the DNA Matches from one database to another.

For your information, if you drag and drop the same person from database 1 to database 2 RM will not let you save any DNA results manually; I’ve just had to restore my ‘new’ Db from a backup. Fortunately it will now let me enter that information manually. Just another 100+ to go :man_facepalming:

I have also just discovered that the DNA results page is not dynamic. One of my matches showed a database match in the old database but was blank in the new one. Useful in a way as I could recreate the missing link for that person but I’m surprised that the DNA page does not update when the database is opened. I hope the DNA facility is under review for V12, it would be good to be able to click on a match’s name and go to their profile as well as populating their DNA match with [my] details. Import/export from/to a CSV file would be good too.
