I would like to add additional photos to some people, I realise that only one can be used as the main image, but what is the best principle to add more images/photos to a person, and if so, what is the best way to do it?
Right click the person you want to add media to and select ‘edit person’. From the icon menu on the left of the edit person screen click the images icon and then click the big + sign at the top to add media. Screenshot below if that helps, left hand arrow points at media icon.
