What I was looking for was something was hidden in the database (tables) but I guess you will have to have support assist you
Having spent an hour or so reviewing this issue I have come to the conclusion that my initial thoughts of what the issue was were wrong.
Having compared creating a new test database in RM9, RM10, & RM11, the results are the same. Irrespective of what state the media display settings are the “Add xxxxx” has either a male, female of “ghost” avatar displayed with it. So the issue I’ having is simply the fact that randomly, the “ghost” (or otherwise) avatar is not displaying…not that it is displaying when it shouldn’t.
btw, none of my databases have any data in the media tables, and the autoincrement value is 1.
I can only assume this is a coding issue probably only in RM11…but it might be there in earlier versions. I think its over to the programmers!
Edit; apologies for any typos…I’ve just had a cataract op and my vision is somewhat scrambled by my eyes being radically different…temporarily, that is!
yes that was ONE of the things I was looking for – I have seen where/when the tables have gotten corrupted is earlier versions. You would NOT likely see than looking at the media gallery etc within the RM UI.
