I am 78 with short term memory problems.
Is there a way to view my tree (vertically) similar to Ancestry’s Vertical Tree View?
That way I can see relationships (nieces, nephews, siblings, etc.) more easily.

Ancestry still has quite a few bugs and a lot of programming to do, but the tree view is the best I know.
So it should be used as a task for the programmers of all (!) genealogy programs.
I seem to recall that went when RM8 came out. Missed it ever since! I too find the Ancestry one more intuitive and easy. Strangely, when you open the tree of a DNA match in Ancestry it defaults to a horizontal tree; however there is a handily placed button that allows you to select a vertical tree if you so prefer. Not a bad idea for RM to do something similar so users could choose their favourite format.
There isn’t a tree view like Ancestry’s, but you could try the Descendant View to see the nieces, nephews and siblings.
For me, it’s not just about horizontal or vertical, but about being able to jump visually in the family tree.
